Pastor Ron, Sr., is a favorite faculty member at the college. He teaches courses on marriage and family, spiritual authority, and effective pastoring. Also, as part of our Biblical Studies course, he teaches on his favorite book of the Bible, Song of Solomon. Pastor Ron graduated from Culver-Stockton College in Missouri, and Purdue University in Indiana. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree in Education. Pastor Ron taught in the public school system of Gary, Ind., for 33 years, where he used his teaching and coaching experience to lead hundreds of young people to the Lord.
Pastor Ron, Sr., and Pastor Carol, his wife of 50 years, are founding pastors of Living Stones Church. Living Stones officially began in 1981 as an outgrowth of a weekly “marriage class” in their home. Over the past 25 years, God has healed and restored hundreds of strained and broken relationships through their powerful marriage ministry. God uses Pastor Ron’s expertise as a former high school teacher and coach to train and equip students at Living Stones College and the Body of Christ, to move into maturity. Pastor Ron's long history of faithfulness to Christ, his compassionate love for broken people, and depth of intimacy with God qualifies him as a true spiritual father in the Body of Christ.
